Does botlibre framework automatically understands the topic in an ongoing conversation.

for eg

user : I am travelling to india

bot : welcome

user : what are favorite tourist destination

I understand that if you upload a self file using loadSelfFile or an aiml file using loadAimlFile it create a state diagram from that file.

So if there is a pattern matching a state in the aiml or self script it navigates to next step and on an on till it finds the correct pattern.

Once the pattern is found it responds with the template response.

Yes, Answering just means the bot will always reply.

The easiest way to load JSON data without hosting on botlibre.com would be to write a Self script that imports the data. Self can import any JSON or XML data from a URL.

You know the top right drop down box with the (Twitter) section? I used that and followed the instructions with the retweeting 

However, I got a replying retweet bot with whatever someone says to it like copy cat. "Hi, how are?" "Hi, how are you?"

The bot has a number of learning settings, which you can see on botlibre.com in the bot's "Learning & Settings" page in its Admin Console.

When learning is enabled as "everyone" then the bot will learn new responses from the users it chats with, or the conversations in imports or listens to.

If I enable learning mode in bots by flagging allowlearning to true and also correcting the bot by using CorrectionMode.Everyone then how does bot learn by itself in an ongoing conversations.

I have a set of over 1000 words which forms the vocabulary of my bot. How do I implement this in botlibre? I see the way the colors set is done in json using name value pairs but here, it is just a set of words. If the input from the user does not contain those words, then the question may not pertain to information security and the bot should not try to search or answer the question. I still however need the question to be logged. Can I do this on the bot libre platform?

On the conversation log the bots answer appear normally but the facebook messenger dont retrieve its response. I think it may be oAuth config but I don't know how to configure. I've tried in wordpress configure the wp-oAuth api but had the same experience. On the messenger all the responses parses but only the response that come from wordpress rest api doesnt.

Correct, in AIML * mean "one or many" words, and ^ means "zero or many" words.

use ^ instead of * then it works and you can set new default responses were you review your bots chat history ect

The error has nothing to do with WordPress.
It seems to be an error with the bot trying to send a message to an invalid user. My guess is you sent a message to the page as the page, so Facebook does not allow the page to reply to itself.

I have encountered an issue on this bit.

I am not able to train my bot for the response using this response: Template("I ll give you {star[0]}") for the question Pattern '('Give me * or * ')'

The response possible comes from a list i guess and in some other examples that I tried, the response is as same as the question.

We recommend our support for installing the Bot Libre Cloud Platform. We do have an installation guide if you wish to do your own install, if you are familiar with Linux and web servers it is not too difficult.

btw If later, I want to actually install the botlibre cloud platform on a server ( I could only afford the self setup) -Is it very difficult to install, compared to creating a database and installing Joomla or other cms?

When I open a chat window and type something it just closes the window and opens the Search Live Chat Channels page. It seems it is losing the channel id?

Any suggestions?
